			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Most people find gyms intimidating &#8211; the cold, confusing equipment and super-serious attitudes are just too full on. The whole experience seems like too big a leap from the go-at-your-own-pace workout they&#8217;re used to with private exercise.</p>
<p>But Virgin Active didn&#8217;t build a gym. They built a place where fun and fitness meet, and where members can feel encouraged and supported no matter what level of fitness they&#8217;re at.</p>
<p>The campaign ran across print and outdoor, as well as several activations held in both Sydney and Melbourne.</p>

<p>The Volkswagen Polo TDI was announced as Australia’s Best Small Car for the second year in a row and we were briefed to make an ad announcing this. However, instead of making just one ad, we made 730 of them – one for every day the Polo TDI was the best small car in the country – with each ad telling people what it got up to on that particular day. The campaign ran across a wide range of media including print, outdoor, online and radio.</p>
<p>As a result of the campaign, sales jumped 54% from the previous month, and increased 35.8% compared to the same time last year.</p>

<p>In the lead up to the end of financial year, whilst other ads targeted business owners by speaking of doom and gloom, we ran a full page ad proclaiming that tax is now even better, and dedicated songs on the radio to all the small business owners who needed a cheer up. As an added touch, we mailed out a personalised card and gift to existing customers, Songs to Tax to, featuring songs like Kanye West’s Gold Digger and Pink Floyd’s Money.</p>

<p>On Valentine&#8217;s Day, Virgin Mobile launched the post-paid Big Cap 29 by encouraging people to break up with their current provider. After a month&#8217;s activity, they decided to offer the exact same plan with the exact same benefits, though this time it was available on Prepaid &#8211; giving customers the same benefits as those on a 12-month contract, but with the added ability of being able to leave at any time. The campaign ran across a wide range of media including print, outdoor, online and radio. We also created a set of five commitment free cards that were handed out by promo staff as commuters made their way home from work.</p>
